AT A GLANCE

The 1.0 notes changed Accelerator ammo behavior, burst and elemental interactions, and stacking rules. The collected sources do not verify a complete post-launch grid or best setup.

What an Accelerator build needs to solve

The Accelerator is a burst weapon whose upgrades can change its ammo loop, projectile behavior, and elemental interactions. Older player material emphasizes ammo sustain first. It does not provide a complete, independently verified 1.0 grid that can be called the best setup.

One Early Access gameplay recording discusses generating ammunition over time while sprinting and applying bees. Use that as a historical lead for testing, not a current recipe: the video predates the 1.0 balance pass.

Accelerator changes listed for 1.0

Upgrade1.0 noteBuild implication
Confident QueenOther-weapon damage no longer refills the Accelerator magazine; ammo capacity increases.Do not assume the old swap-to-refill loop.
Combustive RoundsCan imbue bullets with rot when paired with an Acid Grenade that applies rot.Element choice and grenade effects are linked.
Ruptured SpleenIncreases damage of normal Accelerator bullets.Compare normal-shot damage with burst-focused effects in game.
RequeeningNow has a duration stat and lasts longer after bees stop being fully applied.Bee uptime is a separate variable to check.
Unstable RecursionCan only be stacked in Ouroboros.Do not assume this stack rule applies to standard missions.
Honey Sweet / Number 5 To GoBoth can be stacked; Number 5 To Go increases burst size.Check the grid and stack limits in the current item text.

These entries summarize the official 1.0 release notes ↗.

A cautious way to test a setup

  1. Choose one goal: reliable ammo, larger bursts, or rot synergy.
  2. Use the current upgrade descriptions to select pieces that serve that goal.
  3. Record the weapon, grenade, employee, and mode. Keep Ouroboros-only stacking separate from normal missions.
  4. Retest after changing one upgrade; old damage numbers and exploit-based videos are not a 1.0 benchmark.

The build index labels the Accelerator page as an upgrade reference rather than a finished meta loadout.
