The checked sources do not establish a universal best build for 1.0. These weapon pages preserve dated player setups and explain which later upgrade changes need a fresh in-game test.
Build references by weapon or role
These pages preserve sourced build ideas and explain how the 1.0 update affects them. Early Access recipes are labeled as historical; none is presented as a verified 1.0 best build.
| Guide | What it covers | Version status |
|---|---|---|
| Glider build | Documented flight and rocket-salvo setups. | Older community recipes; check the 1.0 changes before copying. |
| Accelerator build | Ammo-sustain ideas and the weapon's 1.0 upgrade changes. | No independently verified post-launch full grid. |
| Lead Flinger build | A dated single-target recipe and the 1.0 changes to its upgrades. | Historical recipe; current damage and best grid are not established. |
How to read a build in Mycopunk
A build combines an employee, a weapon, upgrade pieces placed in that weapon's grid, and a combat goal. A list of upgrade names alone does not guarantee the same result: pattern placement, rolled stats, game version, enemy type, and solo or co-op play can all matter.
The official Steam listing describes the grid-based upgrade system. The 1.0 notes also change multiple upgrade patterns and effects, so older recipes need to be checked against the current item descriptions.
Compare by purpose, not by an unsupported ranking
- For mobility and ally support, start with the Glider page and verify the flight conditions in game.
- For sustained bursts, read the Accelerator page's 1.0-specific changes before choosing ammo or element upgrades.
- For concentrated damage, use the Lead Flinger page as a historical recipe and retest it before treating its numbers as current.
See the tier-list evidence page for why this site does not label any of these setups the universal 1.0 winner.
