Mycopunk 1.0 shows employee XP from side objectives, Incursion rooms and Paid Time Off objectives, but the checked sources do not provide a full XP formula or confirm a separate “panel level” stat.
What progression means in Mycopunk
The official Steam listing describes a mission loop that grants new mods for weapon upgrade grids. It does not publish a complete XP formula or a level-by-level unlock table. Think of the grid, employee growth, and weapon unlocks as related systems with different rules.
The Steam product page ↗ describes missions granting mods to slot into weapon grids. For the grid itself, see the upgrade reference.
Employee XP and level 30
The 1.0 notes say the end-of-mission screen now shows employee XP from side objectives, Incursion rooms, and Paid Time Off objectives. They also fix employee levels displaying as infinity after level 30. These notes confirm what the interface reports; they do not give a full XP formula or say which mission gives the most XP per minute.
If you want to compare runs, use the in-game end screen and record the same employee, mission, threat, and objectives. A pre-1.0 formula should not be treated as a current rate table.
Weapon levels and unlocks
The 1.0 release post says the Diffraction Driver can be unlocked with resources after reaching level 10. It does not specify in that sentence which level track the number refers to. The same release notes say the Shocklance unlocks after completing the Overtime Assignment.
These are individual unlock conditions, not a complete progression chart. See the sourced weapon names and unlocks for the details that are currently documented.
What does “panel level” mean?
I could not verify “panel level” as a named Mycopunk progression stat in the official 1.0 material or the collected progression references. The sources do describe weapon upgrade grids and employee or weapon levels, but they do not define a separate panel-level system. Treat the phrase as unresolved until an in-game screen or developer source identifies it.
