No comparable post-launch tests in the collected sources establish a 1.0 tier order. The page preserves one pre-1.0 community opinion and summarizes the balance changes that make it historical.
Is there a verified 1.0 tier list?
I could not verify a post-launch 1.0 ranking backed by current, comparable gameplay tests. The 1.0 update changed weapon and upgrade patterns across the roster, so an Early Access or 1.5 ranking does not establish today's order.
The official notes describe balance changes, not a developer-endorsed tier list. Any current ranking should state its patch, test method, difficulty, and whether it measures solo play, co-op support, or damage output.
Historical community snapshot
One Steam community discussion from the Early Access period grouped weapon combinations this way. It is preserved as a dated opinion snapshot, not a current 1.0 result.
| Historical label | Weapons named | Use this as |
|---|---|---|
| S | Shocklance, Plate Launcher | Pre-1.0 community vote, not a current tier. |
| A | Gunship Cannon, Globbler, Accelerator | Pre-1.0 community vote, not a current tier. |
| C | Swarm Launcher, Lead Flinger | Pre-1.0 community vote, not a current tier. |
Read the original Steam weapon discussion ↗. Other players in the thread argue that upgrade combinations matter more than a weapon's unmodified base form.
Why old rankings age quickly
The 1.0 notes changed, among other things, Glider upgrades, Lead Flinger patterns and scaling, Accelerator interactions, and Shocklance damage and piercing behavior. Those changes can alter a build's role without changing its weapon name. Compare one setup at a time and record the patch and scenario before assigning a tier.
For named examples, see the dated Glider, Accelerator, and Lead Flinger pages.
